UNIX Shell Programming Workshop (3 days)

This course is designed for those who want to use shell scripting capabilities to drive productivity and efficiency in their operating system tasks.

Course content
- Role and benefits of shell scripting: interacting with external tools
- Scripting basics: script fundamentals and testing
- Data storage and usage 1: parameters, variables and arrays
- Data storage and usage 2: manipulation and redirection
- Testing and debugging: error conditions, error handling and testing

Pre-requisites
UNIX knowledge and experience to a satisfactory level where the delegate is comfortable with basic commands and usage of UNIX or Linux.
