- You will have demonstrated experience of system and complex integration testing across multiple platforms and technologies covering both functional and non-functional testing and have a thorough understanding of the full development lifecycle. You will have experience of engaging with third parties in similar leadership roles and be able to point to practical experiences of managing the testing on these projects to success, on time and on budget. The suitable candidate will have working experience of test management tools such as HP Quality Centre and test automation tools having used test record and replay tools to assist with on-going testing. Experience of non-functional testing such as backup and recovery, DR, performance, security etc is also preferable. Whilst not essential, it will be an advantage if you have practical experience of testing in a deadline driven, fast moving, advertising/print media sector company. You will be an excellent communicator and listener and be able to work with staff at senior levels within the organisation to understand, analyse and interpret requirements and other systems documentation, translating them into clear Test plans. You will be well organised and able to articulate your ideas clearly whether as a presentation or in a written document. You must have demonstrated experience of leading teams of 5 or more staff and of achieving timely delivery of high quality deliverables. You will be expected to perform a hands-on role on multiple projects, and you will be flexible and be able to effectively prioritise your time to deal with conflicting project demands. You will also be creative and resourceful in finding ways to deliver to expectations of timescale and quality. You will be required to foster strong relationships with other stakeholders and team members, and seek opportunities to develop your own business domain expertise and contribution and to develop and mentor colleagues on your own areas of expertise.

The System/System Integration Test (SIT) Lead’s role is to plan, co-ordinate and manage the system testing and system integration testing on one or more projects to ensure that the applications and their associated integration components are fit for purpose, prior to release into the live environment. The System/SIT Lead will be required to work closely with the Head of Solution Testing, Project Managers and Technical Leads to ensure that all system and system integration test activities are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with project plans.
The System/SIT Lead will engage early on in project lifecycles to provide input into and assurance of the requirements and technical design documents to identify problems up front, and overall, to ensure that the solution is testable. The System/SIT Lead will work closely with the Technical Leads to define the system/SIT plan, test cases, test scripts and test schedules, ensuring full coverage and traceability back to the requirements and design. The System/SIT Lead will also take responsibility for ensuring that the necessary resources and expertise from across A&N Media IT Services contribute to the preparation, review and final sign off of all System/SIT activities and deliverables as defined in the A&N Media IT Services Test Strategy and Project Delivery Framework.In this role you will be based in Leicester, but expected to travel in order to perform your duties across A&N Media's regional operations in the UK and its national teams principally based in London
