- Job Description:
SDLC Solutions is seeking a talented lead generator to join our business development team. To be successful, you must be a highly persuasive, consistent, patient and organised individual who can identify prospects and set appointments with appropriate decision maker contacts. You must be able to think on your feet, understand our core business offerings and generate client interest within our seven chosen vertical market sectors.
In addition to generating appointments, you will support the business development manager by managing the prospect database. This includes updating all relevant contact information, researching new organisations and managing sales campaigns. The successful candidate will have gained experience working in a business development role for a professional services firm.
Excellent written communication skills are required as this position will also include writing/constructing pitches.
A competitive compensation package based on experience is offered - base salary between £22-26,000 p.a. with the opportunity for on target earnings of £40,000 p.a.
Job Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a small business development team responsible for conducting calls and arranging qualified leads and appointments for our senior technical managers. They will also carry out research on companies and ensure that the prospect database is kept updated.Main Responsibilities
• To carry out a number of daily outgoing calls to a highly professional standard
• To generate the maximum number of leads and face-to-face appointments for the senior management team
