Test Analysts (Midlands & Wales and Southern England)

Skills / experience:

SDLC Solutions, the UK testing solutions specialists, is recruiting Test Analyst in Midlands & Wales and Southern England. You will initially be appointed to client sites and must be prepared to work UK wide if necessary. Must have extensive experience on Government, Financial and Insurance sectors.

Job Description:

  • Understanding of project lifecycle and deliverables.
  • Provide input and expertise into test approach and direction based on experience and expertise in solution or technologies being implemented.
  • Contribute to Overall Test Strategies and Master Test Plan where required.
  • Liaise with Business and Development teams in order to ensure quality of test scripts and timely resolution of defects and issues.
  • Review of design and requirements documentation in order to prepare test scripts.
  •  Prepare test scripts for execution by Test Team
  • Prepare and execute tests set against application under test using prepared test scripts.
  • Keep a record of progress against plan
  • Identify and record defects found during the execution of test scripts.
  • Communicate and present information and status reports to team members and external teams.
  • Review work of others providing constructive feedback.
  • Able to work under limited supervision.
  • Plan and control own work flow to ensure all deadlines are met and manage own tasks effectively.
  • Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures to ensure information retention and re-use.
