Test Analysts (Glasgow & Edinburgh)

SDLC Solutions, the UK testing solutions specialists, is recruiting Test Analysts in Edinburgh & Glasgow. You will initially be appointed to client sites and must be prepared to work UK wide if necessary. Essential Experience: Financial Services/Insurance Industry

Job Description:
  • Project lifecycle and deliverables.
  • Provide input and expertise into test approach and direction based on experience and expertise in solution or technologies being implemented.
  • Contribute to Overall Test Strategies and Master Test Plan where required.
  • Liaise with Business and Development teams in order to ensure quality of test scripts and timely resolution of defects and issues.
  • Review of design and requirements documentation in order to prepare test scripts.
  • Prepare test scripts for execution by Test Team
  • Prepare and execute tests set against application under test using prepared test scripts.
  • Keep a record of progress against plan
  • Identify and record defects found during the execution of test scripts.
  • Communicate and present information and status reports to team members and external teams.
  • Review work of others providing constructive feedback.
  • Able to work under limited supervision.
  • Plan and control own work flow to ensure all deadlines are met and manage own tasks effectively.
  • Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures to ensure information retention and re-use.
