The SDLC Methodology

Although it is a pre-requisite that our consultants are well versed in standard methodologies including ISEB (Information Systems Examination Board) and CMM (Capability Maturity Model) we also ensure our consultants are proficient in our own methodology.

The SDLC Method extends the effectiveness of existing methods by using best practice to produce a methodology that deals with real-world situations whilst not stifling innovation and pragmatism.  Based on ISO9001:2000, our method offers a complete roadmap for effective quality checks at every phase of the project life cycle.

Our approach sets us apart from the competition, it provides our clients with techniques to reduce risk and resolution time, thereby speeding up product time to market and ultimately lowering operating costs for our clients.

Following a risk based testing methodology; the SDLC Method ensures that the highest risk areas of a project are targeted first.  This way defects that are likely to require most re-work time are found earlier in the project.  Faults found earliest in the process are least costly to correct, generally less than 20% of the cost of correcting the same error post-implementation.  Therefore there is a significant financial as well as operational benefit to monitor and manage testing and identify and perform corrections at the earliest opportunity. 

Our objective is to ensure that every element of a given system is validated at the earliest possible stage and provide a comprehensive and manageable audit trail of the system’s actual capabilities. 

The SDLC Method addresses not only client’s immediate needs but also considers and allows for future evolution and scaling.
