Oracle SQL Introduction (3 days)

This course is designed for delegates wishing to gain a thorough insight into the fundamentals of SQL basics. It covers all the main aspects of the use of the SQL language and database usage.

Course content
- SQL server 2005: use, components, tools
- Databases: designing and building
- Data: retrieval, sorting and manipulation
- SQL queries: selecting, joining, sorting, aggregation and refining
- Applications: displaying on the web, transferring to Excel
- Administration: database integrity, security and job scheduling

Pre-requisites
This is an introductory course and therefore assumes no prior knowledge other than basic computer literacy.
